I have been told that if DJ could find a way to bring his "practice game" to game day that he would be far and above our #1 QB.

I assume this is what holds him so high in the coaches opinion and is why we have a #1 and a #1A quarterback depth situation.

If we get a breakthrough by someone (anyone) at QB , this could be a remarkable season.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

First time I saw JD in game action a couple years ago I thought he looked like T2 in his early years at Ohio. That year ye was 5-6 for 62 yds passing; five carries for 33 yds and a TD rushing. Very impressive. But that JD wasn't around much last year. He seemed overwhelmed and confused most of the time. Although he led the team in passing yds, he had only four more completions than Vick in 42 more attempts. His yds per carry went from 6.6 to 4.1. Would like to see him return to the form he had two years ago.
