This makes me appreciate the recent football coaches we've had over the past few years. From Lichtenburg to Grobe to Knorr to Solich, I think they all made it their mission to make the players better men on and off of the field.

Um, Mr. Knorr had an assistant who liked to beat the hell out of players. Just didn't get a lot of publicity.

I'm guessing this isn't the final word. I suspect that there will be a lot of attorneys involved before it's all over.

What a disaster that program has become. No excuse for this type of behavior, the Illini being an irrelevant program , or hiring that guy in the first place.

Agree on that. I am confused on why this guy (or a lot of MAC coaches) get hired away.
