and a starting QB has not been publicly named. Do you think the team knows the starting QB for next week? Do you think we play two equally? Three equally? Stick with the hot hand? I just think that when a QB thinks they're playing for their job on every play, they're going to try to do too much. You don't think about field position if you don't think you're the QB that will be able to take advantage of the field position next drive.

I'm concerned...but hopeful. I'm guessing we're going to see a heavy dose of the ground game next week.

They all had 9 months to get better from last season. I hope that has happened and we see the improvement on the field. We are playing indoors at Idaho. No better environment to unleash a passing attack.
Need to build confidence in the passing game. We know we can run the ball.

The question then is can we run the ball without fumbling? I would think that if you have little passing threat then the running game becomes stoppable pretty soon. I think that it's also pretty tough to keep up with today's pass happy scoring machines without at least an average passing attack. I can't wait to see if there's any improvement in ours.
