Among Ohio's RBs, who is quickest into and through the hole? White and Patterson look quick. AJ not so quick which could explain why so many 1- and 2-yard gains. Irons? Brown?

Against Marshall quickness into and through could be key to Ohio's chances.

Daz in particular looked great late in the game hitting the LOS. Papi also has great quickness and looks more physical compared to last year.

There was a clip of Bo Hardy that showed real quicks through the hole. Made me glad he was not at Miami. I think just about what you are asking Bo Hardy might be the guy.

Not sure who's quickest to the hole, but from this week's game can there be any doubt that Papi's got the top speed once he's going?

Papi may also have the elusiveness, the ability to shift direction most quickly.

AJ has always seemed to hit holes quickly to me. They all have their advantages. This is my guess:
Papi - Highest top speed, shiftiest, good receiver
Irons - very fast for a big guy, reads blocks very well, good balance, hard to tackle
AJ - accelerates quickly, consistently gets the tough yards, and yards after contact, faster than he looks, good receiver as well
Daz - fast, shifty, and tough
Brown - excellent all-around skills

Which will stick the blitzing LB to give Vick time to throw?

Yep, the 6th string transfer from Capital is our quickest RB. Classic Bcat2!

This could have been a Bcat++ post.

That's easy. Any of them. No one will see the fields at RB unless they can block.

My memory could be wrong, but I think I remember something about Hardy being the fastest player on the team two years ago. Of course, that was before White arrived, so White is likely the fastest today. It takes more than speed to be a good running back, though.

Edit - Interestingly, in his press conference today, Solich was commenting about the various running backs. He even mentioned Bo Hardy, and about him said that he "has great speed."

Paul, "Classic Bcat2!" I guess so. You got me. Nice of Solich to confirm Bo's speed for you. Hope that works?

+1 . . . way to go Bcat2!

It sometimes helps if your critics actually check their facts before they launch an attack. Almost sounds like a commentary on current state of national politics, doesn't it?
