With Toledo leading 16-7 at the half, the game was cancelled, and will not be replayed. I don't recall ever seeing that happen before.

with it officially being a no-contest and no stats counting, due ticketholders have the right to their money back? Of course considering that great crowd at Central last night(hard to believe there were so many empty seats for OSU) were there even any fans at Toledo last night?

Idaho's season opener last year at Florida was canceled because of weather. But I don't recall when the cancellation came - before or after Idaho arrived in FL.

I was at the Western Michigan-Michigan game in 2011 that was called at the end of the third quarter. That was counted as a game.

They mentioned last night that the Idaho-FL game was stopped right after kickoff and about two hours later they got a play or two in before they had to stop it for good.

I'm not sure about refund policies for football. Baseball through the years depended on when the game is "official" (after 5 innings; 4 1/2 if the home team is leading). No such thing in football.

That brings up a very interesting point. Suppose this happened with our game with Marshall next Saturday. Would we get a refund of the amount printed on the ticket of $40 or the price paid for the season ticket divided by 6? Refunding what the ticket is alleged to be worth could bankrupt a school.
