Cats look good so far but man, are we playing Moscow High out there? Have these guys been off for 4 weeks during camp? I've seen some rusty teams in week one but these guys look completely unorganized and discombobulated! I'll be stunned if they top 1 win again this season.

What's really awful is that Mac commercial. Brilliant move to point out everything negative about the conference. Makes us look amateur. They only thing they left out was showing some empty stadiums. Maybe next tIime.

My wife and I looked at each other with the "what the heck?" faces the first time we saw it. #MACtion is a great tag line. The commercial....not so much.

Idaho's offense scares me. I'm glad for the big early lead because we can't stop them right now. I hope second half adjustments help us bottle up that Epps dude.

Good first half. We got two good Quarterbacks. Receivers made plays. D-line was impressive with the pass rush. TE nice big target in red zone. We should put up some points this year.

The Ohio promo vid that appears to be 3 years old...and which says stuff that any other school could say...which doesn't state what's distinct to OHIO...which doesn't have a helicopter view of the beauty of the campus and Athens area...which has shots of the 110 which are totally generic and do not in any way show their uniqueness ?????

While they are better than past videos (which isn't saying too much as I think some freshmen with a smartphone could make something better) I am very underwhelmed with the quality of our videos. There is a lot of talent walking our campus let alone what some of the better ad firms within Ohio's boundaries could produce. Lots of room for improvement IMHO.

On another note, what was the published attendance for last night's game? There will be thousands of high school games across the country that will have much, much higher attendance than what showed up for our tilt last night. Must be lots to do in Moscow on Thursday nights.

YES. We do. And this thread was started before the first quarter had even expired last night. Thankfully that ends the last of the home-&-home series with the Sun Belt's two outcast, cellar-dwelling football outcasts in New Mexico State and Idaho. I'm sure our AD is on the horn now with Georgia State to see how quickly we can get them on the schedule next. It's a good thing EMU is in the MAC because if not, they'd be an annual non-conference opponent for us. SMH.
