Its not even Franks call. It is Tim Albin who these young men are with in a meeting room and field for the majority of their time here at Ohio University. If it aint broke dont fix it and getting him game carries will work themselves out. The kid is HUGE I noticed a tweeter picture of him sitting beside Daz,Papi and Dorian well Irons is already one of the bigger backs in the MAC his calves have cows so it is apparent that he is working physically. I wouldnt worry about him Im more interested in seeing if Dorian Brown can find a niche.

It's funny I sat at that game the other night and thought AJ doesn't get enough carries. Not once did I think about Irons or Brown. Next weekend hopefully we see a heavy dose of those two in the second half. Lord willing.
I was a bit confused about the backfield pairing of White and Patterson for a drive. Not sure who the lead blocker was in that combo.

On the same note, I'm totally shocked Urban Meyer didn't throw Joey Burrow out there for Ohio State. All indications suggest he might be a future star. He's gonna need the reps if their other 5 Qbs go down...lets see whats hes got.

But have we seen/heard this type of buzz at OHIO for a running back in a long while?
What is this buzz you speak of? Except for a few posts/threads on this board, what buzz is overtaking the universe? Is Arkley tweeting off the charts about him? Are publications running headlines, "Where's Maleek?" Are fans waving signs, "Put in the Irons Man!" Is the student section chanting "We Want M.I." when the offense takes the field? Except for a few self perpetuating threads, what buzz is there?

P.S. Like others, I suspect he will play next week - mostly against the back-ups on SE LA - and will do well against their 2nd team. I suspect our primary backs (AJ, DAZ, Papi) will also do well. Don't see any reason for any of them to lose carries. Unfortunately, there are only so many carries to go around...despite the "buzz."

You do NOT burn redshirts to get experience. A couple of snaps in a meaningless game is NOT worth an entire season.
