At least 5K were Marshall fans. I was not impressed by the OHIO turnout - especially students

Russ was commenting how the crowd thinned as the game went on.

Always has thinned out after the 110 plays at halftime, however, it is not nearly as bad as it used to be. What was the final attendance?

Not on the only fart side -- hardly a soul left until the last few seconds of the game, when it was decided, and even then most were just standing and not leaving. Also, the family pack area was pretty solid too throughout the game. Student side did thin out a good deal after the 110 finished playing at halftime, but not as bad as in most games last year.

Progress is progress. One step at a time. Ohio does lead the MAC in football attendance.

The old fart side never fully filled up, many open spaces each section. Hill had lots of green on it. And I'm just waiting for someone to say this crowd was really larger that Pitt.

I suspect that the threat of rain kept some of the season ticket holders from making the trip.

I was just talking about this today. Not only was that game the most electric atmosphere I have ever seen, but judging by our recent attendance numbers, there had to be 27,000+ in Peden that night! No one could ever convince me otherwise!

Marshall didn't bring as many fans as they normally do either. I think next weekend and homecoming will be as big as yesterday's crowd

Well, Billy, with about two-minutes left in the game, I stood up from my 50-yard-line Phillips seats in the second row. I looked to the far right corner and the far left corner and it was filled up in both corners and everywhere in between from my vantage point. I suppose from another angle you might have been able to spot a few empty seats here and there, but it was "virtually full" at that juncture. Not so much the student side. In general I think the geezers deserves a little credit in this matter, and I appreciate the incremental improvement on the student side. No, it was not as full as the Pitt game.

Most people in the US have gained weight over the last decade. The crowd may not have been as numerous, but it may well have been larger.

If there really were 25,000 butts in the seats last night, I absolutely believe there were 27,000+ for Pitt. Last night was a good crowd, but I have definitely seen it more full.

I think the weather probably kept a few people away, even though it was perfect by kickoff.

Should be a heck of a game.
Good thing this isn't The Price is Right. 25,210.
What do I win?

On TV it did not look full, the hill wasn't even close to full.
