Well, maybe not so quietly.
Seems to me that Kurt Laseak and Keith Heitzman have high motors and really try to get something done on every play.
When they make the play (tackle, reception) you see it. But I also see Laseak hustling hustling on every defensive play, whether he ultimately makes the tackle or not--and he makes or causes lots of tackles. Likewise, Heitzman's catches are great but he's blocking seriously out there.
I'm sure that there are other guys who are worthy of note. But these two stand out for me as really, play after play, doing the things that make a difference, that win games.
+1
As for your question, BCAT2, yes, they have run at least some zone blitzes. With Laseak and Basham both making tackles way out in the flat for no gain after completed passes, I was thinking that those plays had to have been zone blitzes, but it wasn't possible for me to see that as the game was running live.
I wish that on an ESPN3 replay I could stop and start the film, and replay certain plays over and over so that I could watch individual players, but you can't, at least, not so far as I know. You can only watch the whole game, or the plays selected for highlihts, nothing else.
