I think past committes have indeed screwed over G5 teams. I also think that this committee hasn't given strength of schedule enough weight. I agree on some issues the the power conferences have acted like a monopoly. I also think that most of your ideas on the subject are the ramblings of a blithering idiot. None of these comments are contradictions and can all be true.

This explains why G5 schools should at least be motivated to "legally collude" and demand multi millions of dollars in buy game payouts. I'm with the LOVE there.

Completely wrong, and I'll ask for a retraction. I am firmly ON RECORD as communicating with the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of the Group of 5 to ask them to work TOGETHER to increase the non conference "buy" game payouts with the Power 5 schools. So again - WRONG.

And I'm calling for the leaders at Oregon State and Washington State to leads this charge as they have a bigger gripe than just about anyone since being left behind by the rest of the PAC 12. Those two have richer histories and a better football pedigree than half of the bottom of the ACC, SEC, Big Ten and Big 12 and yet somehow they were left out in the cold. I'll carry the damn flag for them and the rest of us.

As Commissioner of the Big 12, Mr. Yormark has a vested interest in pushing his teams over other peoples' teams, and he is entitled to his opinion. But his rhetorical device of comparing P4 vs. G5 records averaged over all such games is absurd. Instead, one should want to compare the performance of the contenders directly: Boise State's only loss was at #1 Oregon by 3 points, just two worse than two-loss Ohio State (who are apparently getting in); meanwhile, Arizona State was squeezing past Sun Belt runner-up Texas State by the same margin. ASU played three ranked opponents, but only one is still ranked at the end of the season (BYU). ASU and Mr. Yormark don't find this comparision sufficiently flattering? Well then, don't lose to 5-7 Cincinnati and the need for politics is gone. If he wants to make a real argument, how about the possibility of 9-3 Alabama getting in after losing to Vanderbilt?
