Miles cross just entered the portal
Hard to believe he doesn't want to be the #1 WR in the 100th ranked offense.
Will Jacoby Jones be back? If so, might explain his decision.
I'm guessing many of them see the writing on the wall with Rourke probably telling people officially that hes not returning, and combining that with such a bad year that everyone thinks was fantastic bc "just win"...
He won't be the last.
Jacoby is still trying to come back from his injury, so maybe he gets overlooked in the portal. He's also from Mississippi and Ole Miss's top 3 WR are SR's.
"Such a bad year." Sign me up for bad years if the results are 9-3 every season. Evidently you are not old enough to remember when 9 wins in five seasons was the norm in Athens. It is great that the Bobcats have fans that are very similar to the fans in Columbus. Maybe you and all your friends can start donating to the NIL just like they do in Columbus to keep and get some great players. Ryan Day is asking for $13 million minimum, but I'm guessing the people in Athens will settle for alot less than that. Pony up!
I don't understand this logic. Because we were so bad in the past, we should be grateful to just get to 9 wins, even though the bar has been raised? I don't think we need to remind you the last time we won the conference was in '68. Since then we've been to 5(!) MACC games and lost all of them.
We all understand how bad the program was back then. That was then, the expectations are much higher now, as they should've been back in the day. The road to a title couldn't have been laid out any better for us this year and we fumbled the bag...again.
Also, I'd love to see a breakdown of where OSU's NIL $ comes from. I don't know a single person that has donated or showed any desire to donate and I have plenty of die-hards as friends/family. I would be willing to wager that a vast majority of the NIL dollars comes from businesses throughout the state, not average joes that yell at the tv on Saturdays.
