Wells showed his NFL ability. Way to come back from last week.

Yep, great play!
On a side note...I can't remember an Ohio corner that has been avoided the way Ian has for the past season or two. Akron threw his way and paid the price!

I agree, it was a great play. How about Poling, today, too. A pick earlier, a lot of tackles, and two huge tackles on 1st and 2d down that last series, the 2d one being a big sack.

Poling is a man-child and Paul Graham is correct teams avoid Wells like the plague. They avoid him more than they avoided Byrum.

Agree with all about Wells and the comments on Poling. The Impact Player of the Game named by the announcers was Vick, Thought it could have gone to Poling or Wells.

It makes you wonder if he is not suspended vs. Minnesota. Does he make the one play that stops the Gophers winning drive? Thought his sack on that last Akron drive might have been the play of the game.

I would really like to see an injury report without his name. Back problems really concern me.

Poling my get defensive player of the week he is a monster LBer glad he plays for OUr team! Word is next year its a comp between Sprague if throwing shoulder returns and Maxwell..Windham could be in the picture but he is so predictable right no knows knows. Duckworth is not regarded by coaches and Connor C doesnt have the arm strength there is hope he will switch to safety and be really good as most former QBs make great ones.

Wells is playing very well. How pivotal could his Roger Lewis matchup be? Hopefully the Cats are in position to win the East at that time.
Wells quality of play makes me think about what Larenzo Fisher could have been. In 2012 against Penn State those two were our starting corners.
