I'm glad you mentioned that. I thought that on the replays of the 'hit' during the game, that Mitchell was there, but didn't do much other than sort of land on Smith and talk trash. Seemed to me like Smith was barking up the wrong tree when blaming MM. Oh well. Neither Mitchell/Smith really bite their tongues much.
