With back-to-back games on ASN, as well as the Marshall game last month, is Ohio becoming a popular choice for the upstart sports network? If so, is it because of its success on the field? Or due to relatively good ratings? Something else, perhaps?
Whatever the case, it's a good deal for Ohio fans.
I think the T'erd game was chosen because it's an interesting rivalry and ASN also does CUSA games. As far as MAC-only games, I think they're looking at the potentially most-competitive games. They had WMU-CMU last week, so WMU's on back-to-back as well. The other games this week are EMU-Toledo, Buffalo-CMU, NIU-Fiami, Akron-BG (which might be good), GaSt-BSU and Kent-UMass. WMU-Ohio would seem to be the most evenly matched, plus it has two teams with real bowl possibilities.
