First, Braverman is a huge concern.
However, I have this question.
Is WMU/Franklin better than Marshall/Johnson?

Last year Braverman had 6 catches for 38 yards against Ohio. He was not the problem. The problem was Corey Davis, who had 9 catches for 212 yards and 2 TDs. Ohio is going to have to do a lot better this year. Last year Davis was 22-28 for 344 yards, with 2 TDs and 2 Interceptions. The interceptions can stay, but the rest needs to go.

We are a lot better than we were last year. Agree this game is a big challenge and defense will have to shine.Need good pass rush and careful not to play too loose on defensive . RE: I don't think they can stop our offense.

We weren't bad defensively last year and yet we still gave up 150 on the ground to Franklin and 3TD's. In fact, I just checked and we were second in the MAC in rushing defense last year and second in total defense. Its easy to forget, but offense was the trouble last year and we were never really able to get the defense off the field.
That said...the team confidence is apparently through the roof and the defense is playing fantastic right now. If our offense can put 20+ points on the board I like our chances. Regardless, its going to be fun! I can't believe its only Wednesday. :(
