Almost wish he would stop reporting injuries.

Article says redhawk is last in MAC in scoring offense and 9th in total defense.

I don't put that much faith in statistics. But add the above to this being a home game and this being homecoming and you get that this should be over by halftime.

And add in that Vick is almost 100% and Basham should be back. I usually hesitate to say that a game will be a blowout, but I came to the conclusion early on this week. There's just too much differential between these two teams. Fiami will play hard but except for one game this year they haven't shown much.

Per Arkley's blog, Wood and Bass may return this week, but Lowery and Smart will be out for awhile. Moore might be back with a playing cast "soon", but I don't know if that means this week. He has no mention of Heitzman or Brunis, the two that were hurt against Miami.

On the whole it seems they are getting about as many players back each week as they lose, and if anything the situation is getting better, not worse.

Wood and Lowery are difference makers on the OL. Coach gets smarter and RB & QB get better with them available. Saying a prayer for their good health.

Wood was still in a sling Saturday. Didn't look ready to return very soon. I even wondered if he had surgery again? On another note, there's been much discussion about Irons and how he is so much bigger than the other backs! When standing beside the others, he is not much bigger than the others except taller than Daz. Maybe it's the uniform that equalizes, but I'm as close to them as anyone in Peden. Just my opinion and wonder what all the fuss has been about this "beast"!

Our injury situation is not awful. We will really be humming if Vick gets back to Idaho game level health. It was obvious he is not putting weight on his forward foot when throwing against Miami.
