I think Wells is our best DB and is pro quality but he too often does stupid things. Today was costly. We're in the second or third year of the targeting rule so defensive players should be well aware of it by now. His crown hit was too obvious. Dumb play when we especially need our best pass coverage guys out there.
Papi is a really good player but his decision-making is really questionable. Bringing a kickoff from six yards yards deep in the endzone means you have to go 31 yards just to break even.
Teams are starting to catch on that we're using short passes as an extension of our running game. WMU is defensing it well. We need something smarter. The TD pass was a nice change of pace.

Our coaching staff is stupid. 27 passes and 15 runs with the talent at tailback we have and an experienced line. That isn't balanced and to think they though they could just trade points with WMU. We should have run the ball and controlled the clock to keep WMU offense off the field. Our defense is tired in the second half.

Worst decision would be going for it at midfield in a field position game

But our coaching staff has been here 11 years. And we didn't give up a td to Akron or Miami.
