Right. When Ohio had just beaten Penn State and won bowl #2. One request, if you are not accepting of the current results and really want change, call for it based upon that. Many are feeling the need to make personal attacks on good well meaning people who have devoted years of their lives and are truly dedicated to Ohio. If you need more wins, that is enough, no need for the personal attacks.

This doesn't make sense on threads where there have been nary a personal attack--on posters or coaching staff--or maybe you're just being proactive?

Bcat2 (or relative of Solich or Albin as I really believe),
You can cut and paste the same response to every thread that is expressing disappointment. It doesn't change the truth. Ohio Football is stale, cannot recruit dynamic playmakers, and runs predictable plays all season long. Injuries are a sad trend and the team can't beat anyone in the MAC with a winning record. There was never a personal attack.

Do we want to win or do we want to just suit up? Frank is a great coach who has not figured it out. Hopefully, he figures it out. Some people on this board are so scared of the truth or they love being middle of the road. Nobody is attacking anyone, people are expressing themselves.

Exactly. No one is denying this staff took this team from perennial doormat to a completely different level. Name it Frank Solich field or build a statue if you want and no one is going to be upset. But, we have apparently peaked with this staff and are starting to regress the past few years. Has the game passed him by? Is it something else? It can all be debated. But, before the next coach has to start from where Frank did after the years of disaster before him, it's not crazy talk to at least consider that it's possibly time to move on to keep the trajectory moving upward. Sure, it sucks, it would be great to have Frank here forever after what he's done, but I just don't know how that happens.

While we can appreciate what Frank has done for the program, it does seem like now is the time to start moving in another direction. I drove to Athens from Nashville last week for the WMU game, and the second half was an embarrassment. Today's game against a bad Buffalo team was just as bad. Whether people want to admit it or not, I think age and blind loyalty is catching up.

Fortunately Mr. Basham, Mr. Poling, Jovon Johnson, Papi White, Keith Heitzman, Mr Wells, Mr. Smith, Mr. Sayles and Mr Carpenter can consider themselves playmakers without your endorsement. Again, clearly the program disappointed everyone today. When I say everyone I believe the most disappointed are the players and coaches. There is no need to pile on. If you need more wins that is enough, no need to call out the player's quality or the coaches unless it really makes you feel better or smart or .....

What do you want to read on here?

"Oh, gee whiz. We played so hard today. The guys really gave it their best and we just didn't win. Shucks."

Whatever. It's frustrating. Fans can express their displeasure anyway they choose. Just because we question coaching, effort, etc doesn't mean we don't support Ohio Bobcat football.

I know they want to win. We want them to win. When that doesn't happen, we shouldn't be expected to just shrug it off with some "oh shucks" posts.

This team is hard to watch right now....and over the last four years, it's been this way too much.

Let people vent however they want.

If they didn't care about this program they wouldn't be on here talking about them

It's not that Ohio lost. It's how they lost. Every year theres hope of a great season that ends with these lackluster performances. You can deny it all you want but for two weeks this team has crapped down their legs. It sucks. Other teams get over the hump, not Ohio. I appreciate Frank and all he has done but he's maxed out. Time to move on. My only concern is that they would hire Albin as the HC.

So, if I consider myself the POTUS, that's what I am? Or am I still some miscellaneous person who spends too much time on these threads because he loves OU too much?

Performance is not to be subject to analysis?
