I am so sick of watching us trying to run kickoffs out of the end-zone and putting offense at a disadvantage starting drives inside the 15. We average 21.4 per kick return. Take the free 25 yard gift. Papi would still be healthy had he heeded this advice.

You could see the play Papi was injured on was going to be a disaster before he got out of the end zone. It's good to think you're Superman, but you also need to recognize Kryptonite when you see it.

I was surprised to see Daz quickly take a knee from only three yds deep. Just following orders?

I agree KC! I'm not sure we have made it past the 25 this year on a kick-off return. Take it on the 25.

So true ! Tough to see us constantly at a disadvantage as our offense comes onto the field. The 25 yard line is FINE !

They have had a couple good kickoff returns this year. Daz had one at the end of the Minnesota game, and Bass had one. I'm not sure either were out of the endzone, however.

If Daz makes a routine block, Papi doesn't get hurt

Add to the original suggestion that a punt returner stands on the 10 yard line and doesn't back up. I am so frustrated by punts being taken on the 5 the 6, the 7.. That's most certainly happening on a tilted field anyway and the opponent is all over you. Where you gonna go?

Oh yeah, and no more squib kicks.

Yes. I agree. The risk of injury, a turnover, or simply not making it to the 25 make me want to see our returners taking a knee every time the ball is kicked into the endzone.

KC Bobcat......Makes perfect sense to me especially if the stats show it's in our favor. It's just common sense.

44, if White doesn't run it out of the end zone he does not get hurt. He made the first mistake and it will cost him some game time. Live and learn.

Gentlemen, this is football. If they stay on the sideline they will never get hurt. Now there was the mention that of Daz makes a block he might not have gotten hurt. Me, I want to see them take one to the house. Never happen if they always take a knee.
