It wasn't really clear but the penalty occurred on the runback after the pick.

It was pretty interesting though how that pick was probably, in hindsight, more fortuitous for the Bengals with the penalty yardage tacked on. My first thought was it was just as good if not better than a punt. Sure enough BR was picked off not long after and led to the winning TD.
That's why I think I love football so much. While games often follow a similar script, there are enough elements to the game that can cause quirky shifts in a matter of seconds. The ebbs and flows of momentum from big plays, turnovers etc. It seems pretty common too for team A to outplay team B in every aspect of the game except for points....the stats are lopsided but then BAM.....team B rips off a big run or completes a big pass and takes the lead. Scoring seems so much more emotional than in a lot of sports for me.
That's why I think I can watch football on any level and enjoy it but can't say that about other sports.
