I think the biggest issue with Frank is his loyalty to some of the coordinators. We have a very old coaching staff. Frank being old isn't a huge deal since Head Coaches are never the ones out there hustling for recruits. Assistants bring them to Frank to "close".

A few former coaches have mentioned to me that every team needs a few young coaches who pound the pavement on recruiting. They also said young black coaches are the best recruiters because of their ability to relate to many of recruits and their families. I'd like to see Frank as the figurehead with a group of younger assistants.

as a Bengal and Ohio fan the past 25 years have been littered with a lot of downs followed by recent ups. I value stability Marvin and Frank have provided my favorite teams.

I recognize difference is Marvin has developed two recent assistants into head coaches in nfl, Zimmer and Gruden. Hue is sure to be #3 next year. I'd like to see same from Athens in the future.

Marvin and Frank are different because Marvin takes risk and the Bengals almost fired him five times and now the Bengals have finally put it together. If Frank gets a Dalton, Green and Eifert, I can buy it, until then we need to look at all options.
