I hope this is not as serious as it sounds.

He has had epilepsy for a number of years, and has numerous seizures. It may well just be an incremental thing where it finally became enough of a problem that it is a distraction for the team. I wish him well.

This stinks. Minnesota was turning things around, too. They were probably a dynamic QB away from making serious noise in the B1G.

He also has a history of cancer, but I hope it's not that serious. All the best.

Edit: It's apparently the epilepsy: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/writer/dennis-do...

Supposedly from his press conference he said:

"If I can give anybody advice, count on your health instead of your wealth, and count on God instead of yourself.

Positive commentary on Twitter about him as well. Hopefully he holds onto his health.
