What if...

Frank told team after BG loss he is retiring at season's ends?

Something has flipped switch with this team.

And we see this tonight.....Frank getting carried off

I know it's a total longshot....but just a random thought that crossed my mind

How about the players just love and respect their coach.

Wasn't insinuating they didnt. Just a random thought I shared.

But way to turn it into a "quit bashing Frank" campaign

Funny that you say "hope not" but your signature quotes JFK's thoughts on change.

You don't carry a coach off the field because you love and respect him. You do it when you win something really big for him.

I didn't know that happened last night. Maybe the guys just know what a rough couple of years it has been.

Just looks like Poling goofing off with a happy Coach. I wouldn't read any more into it than that.

That's how I saw it too. Just a spontaneous and well-earned moment of joy. What happened last night was great. Ohio didn't have the great season we all hoped for, but we certainly turned it into a good one. A bowl win would be the whipped icing (because buttercream is stupid and disgusting) on the cake.
