I would think the recruiting culture is totally different there in Charlotte. He would be more suited to Oklahoma State or Texas Tech type of a program.

And was here 20 years to build up the program to the MACC level. The 8+ win we know and love wasn't quite that its first half decade or so, though with decent success. Potato Bowl win in 2011 was the turning point.

Bring back Spence Nowinsky. Brian Hartline and Eddie George are never coming here.

Couple of other people I like are Brennan Marion (UNLV OC) and Travis Williams (Arkansas DC). Out of the box and long shot would be Coach O (burrow connection)

Agree 100% with this. I believe the deal is done (And I'm praying the sick dog/let me off the bus story is true), but he's leaving a ton of money on the table. The MAC is so bad....one more big year and he could really cash in. Short sighted.

I agree that if Coach opted for UNCC I hope they are paying a boat load of money which I doubt they are. UNCC is a dumpster fire waiting to happen and the
AAC is not the conference in football it once may have been.
