NOT criticizing our best defensive player, but if Poling could just get the handle on that ball! I'm sure he was frustrated.

Same observation on Smith's early plays...fumble, then going out of bounds instead of putting his shoulder down and trying for the extra half yard.

Can someone explain why our quarterback it's running Routes when we're already down a qb?

Was there a somewhat large'ish group on here thinking this guy should've won the starting QB spot? Geesh! Hope I'm wrong, but we're toast.

I told you all Ohio would win this game. Not even much of a contest either.

Just a great win for the Cats. Hats off to Frank and the staff. 8-4 with all of the injuries is incredible.

I think it is a perfect way for Frank to go out. Wish someone would ask why AJ was ignored until last 4 games. We beat Beefs and probably Minny with him as feature back. 10-2 woulda been sweeter but still nice to see resiliency of our guys. OSU could take some notes!

I've been calling it all week. I got laughed at by coworkers over and over picking Ohio in an outright upset. Something tells me there won't be any laughing going on tomorrow.

That was vintage Bobcat football: Run ball, milk the clock and absolutely stuff the other team on defense. Well done Bobcats. 8-4 finish 5-3 in the MAC and a bowl trip.

Don't mind me...I'm just over here in the corner eating my words.

I didn't think we had a shot in hell of winning this game.

Wow! Helluva win!

Best all-around performance all year. Showed stretches of dominance on both sides of the ball.

Did something they haven't done in quite some time...not only beat a really, really good MAC program....but do it on the road.

It does make you wonder why the hell AJ wasn't getting max reps during middle of the season...showed he can be a feature back and a damn good one

The win doesn't erase the embarrassing three-game stretch earlier, but certainly caps off a super impressive final three games.

Didn't think they had it in them as a program after last few years, but hats off for keeping it intact thru all kinds of adversity and getting three impressive wins.

Now onto a bowl victory!

... I don't expect either team to pass a lot, and I'm looking for a score in the range of 27-24 or so, hopefully with Ohio on top. ...
OK, I missed it by a few points. ;)

.. This is why I'm calling for a close Ohio win, by a FG.

Also a very good call.

Nice win, Bobcats! Rest up now, and heal up, and show what a healthy group of Bobcats can do in a bowl. As far as I'm concerned, the later the bowl, the more Bobcats will be 100%.

Very sweet win, especially after playing them tough and coming up short last year. Now, we've got a little time to get some guys healthy for a bowl!

We did leave a lot of points out there that would have made this a much easier game, all and all, a good win. And, the ship righted. Kudos to the O-line the last four games. They've come to play the kind of football I like to see. Run the ball first! I still think our tackling is below average. But we've been much more physical lately.

AJ Oulette has slowly become my favorite Bobcat of all time. I met Chad Brinker once and loved the kid. Played hoops at Ping with Kareem Wilson and dude was so approachable. Loved Matt Muncy. But AJ has shown such commitment. In a world full of Zeke Elliots; AJ shines! Thank you for picking us!

At some point, this coaching staff needs to be held accountable.

When are you going to hold them accountable?
Did Frank & Co. have the team ready and prepared? Did they execute? Funny how you're MIA after a BIG win. Even giving up 7 off a TO and leaving points out there they still were the superior team tonight ending NIU's 22 game win streak in November.

Some of us do hold Frank accountable and winning 67% of their games isn't too shabby IMO.
