Uhhh, can we just make this defense a 3-3-5? There are so many good DBs.

Mark Parson
T.J Wright
Idris Lawrence (did any football player look better in a set of pads?)
Julian Posey

This vote is gonna be tooooougggghhhh.

There are like 5 others from the Grobe era too...but I'll leave them for the others :)

Re from the Grobe era...I nominate:

Tevell Jones. Athletic in the extreme. I believe he ranks at or near the top in career interceptions - 16 or 17?

Dennis Fitzgerald. 1st team All-MAC. He is alone among Ohio DBs whom I saw visibly intimidate receivers. As they made cuts, you could see them looking for Fitzgerald. You could see them short-arming.

Second Tevell Jones. Fitzgerald was a safety, though.

I will be voting for Tevell! He was awesome.

And if Fitzgerald doesn't win the safety vote, I'm quitting BA forever.

Idris was listed at 5'8", most players look better in a set of pads.

I think safety will be an even tougher competition. Fitzgerald, Tafua, Cox, and Mitchell are all fan favorites.

Agree. And as a Carolina Panther fan, Mitchell (as with Dion) has to get my vote.

I hereby nominate Thad Turner, not only for an excellent career, but one hit at the
2:30 mark in the following video that still makes MH55 pee his pants, or his boa.
