We were going to be able to say we beat a ten win conference USA East Champ. We could have put this in our highlight reel. This could have been a huge notch in our belt.

Marshall was getting fat off a pretty soft schedule and 10-2 WKU is not soft. Still the herd finished a nice 9-3.

I love their fans' newest talking point- losing to WKU is not as bad as losing to Ohio and MTSU because WKU has more talented athletes than the Herd but there's no excuse for losing to the other two. lol
