Hats off to App State. They outplayed us most of the game, and when it counted. They deserved to win.

Thank you, Seniors. For four years, you gave us fans, alums, and friends reasons to come together and waste a few hours every week watching a game. I will miss seeing each and every one of you on Saturdays. You will always be Bobcats of the highest caliber, and may your beer always be cold and cheap.

Thank you BAers, for another football season of distractions and dumb arguments. Whether you're a Negative Nancy or a Sunshine Sally, I don't care, because at least you care about the Bobcats.

Coaches, sometimes I scratch my head and say things I probably shouldn't because I am probably not as smart as I think I am about this game, which I watch from afar and you live every day. So, I apologize for that stupidity.

The defense of the last 3 games came to play tonight. App State's offense is ranked #23 in NCAA and Ohio shut them down for almost 3 quarters. Ohio has the #86 offense and it showed tonight. An 86th ranked offense belongs on a 5-7 team. Frank for whatever reason isn't able to get the offense in place to take the Cats beyond the 8-10 win level. Another banner will hang in Peden for the Camellia Bowl but it won't say champions.
