Note the other "related articles" on viewership down for other bowls.

I'm sure having Ohio in midweek MACtion games helped boost the ratings. We have name recognition, especially after winning three straight on national TV in November.

And the Camellia Bowl appears to be one of the better attended bowls so far too.

After some envy on here about Toledo's and NIU matchups you've got to feel as if the the Camellia Bowl worked out pretty good for Ohio. Timeslot was fantastic and an exciting bowl game.

No one has really commented on this but as an attendee, I was impressed with our turnout (by our own low standards, mind you). Does anyone have actual ticket sale info? I was expecting to be joining a half section our so of Bobcat fans. Instead I was pleasantly surprised to see that we probably had a good 2500 folks, maybe more.

I heard the numbers, and they were a lot lower than the group of Ohio fans I saw in the stands. Not sure what to make of it..

With App State's past success, I assume they know how to travel. While we're still trying to learn how to win/travel. So I expected to be outnumbered like 10:1, but it wasn't like that. I was very pleasantly surprised to see our turnout, which I would have guessed to be a couple thousand.
