The players normally sign with agents, hours after their bowl games and agents do try to get their players auditions. I don't know how much they influence the process, but they do indeed seek to influence the process.

These minor league games should be banned in my opinion, some of them are lucky to get AFL coaches at practice.
And yes, once they are eligible a lot sign, but the good all-star games are already taken up. If you've never been to the Shrine Game, that is a real treat as the Shrine is a worthy organization and has a lot of great events around it.
