The road game I'd like to go see on a weekend is at Western. I've not been to the Kalamazoo breweries, and it seems like a perfect long weekend. Maybe hoops or football will get them on a Saturday next season.

I fully endorse Kalamazoo. There are several breweries beyond the excellent Bell's, and I found good food and nice people on my trip there. I hit Ann Arbor as part of the weekend, which is another great town. I'd definitely return.

Had been thinking of going to the Tennessee game but I might do a Toledo or Kent away game instead.

Anyone thinking of going the the Kansas away game?

It HAS to be right?

via Twitter....Blade reporter says BG MAC West opponents are EMU, NIU & UT

If I had to guess...I'd say vs. EMU, at Ball State and at Toledo......then vs. BG, at Miami, at Kent, vs. Akron & vs. Buffalo

vs. EMU - W
at Ball - W (??? - swing game)
at Toledo - L
vs. BG - W (???? - swing game)
at Miami - W (??? - swing game)
at Kent - W
vs. Akron - W
vs. Buffalo - W

4-4 at worst (I'd hope)
6-2 at best
7-1 would be helluva season.....just not sure I'm sold then can do that yet
I'm going 7-5, 5-3 next year....I think we lose one or the other (BG/Miami)
At best...8-4, 6-2 (sweeping BG/Miami)
If JD Sprague suddenly turns into Cam Newton.....9-3 (we either steal one at KU or CMU)

Ultimately I think it's going to come down to that BG game again for Ohio to win MAC East. Akron could be better...but I think East is two-horse race.

If LC's prognosticating is right.....Ohio could be in Detroit next year. I think it'll come down to how well the guy taking snaps is playing

vs. EMU - W
at CMU - L
at Toledo - L
vs. BG - W (swing game)
at Miami - W (swing game)
at Kent - W
vs. Akron - W
vs. Buffalo - W
at Kansas - L
at Tennessee - L
vs. Gardner-Webb - W
vs. Texas State - W

Interesting Kansas games since 2010

2010 – Lost to ND State 6 - 3
2010 – Lost to S. Miss 31 – 16
2011 – Beat CMU 45 – 42
2012 – lost to CMU 30-23 (in DeKalb)
2013 – Beat La Tech 13 – 10
2014 – Beat SE MO 34 – 28
2015 – Lost to SD State 41 – 38

That game is an opportunity for a win.

Kansas was dreadful and won't be any better next year. They are a Power Five football team only by name.
