I count 3 scholarship players from last year not listed: Curtis Brunson (CB), Zach Adams (OL), and Cedric Brown (WR).

Jarid Brown was recruited as a CB but is now listed with the WRs, unless that's a different Jarid Brown.

Both Brunson and Brown were announced as leaving. Cedric went to Charleston, I believe, and I'm not sure about Brunson. I think Adams left awhile ago, too, but I'm not so sure on him.

As for Jarid Brown, he moved to WR about a year ago, about the same time they moved Nelson to Safety from corner and Rodriquez to TE from WR. I think J. Brown even appeared in a couple games at WR this fall. He was a dual-threat QB in high school, if I recall correctly.

QB will be interesting, especially since all the rumors from "in-the-know" people seem to contradict each other. Will Duckworth move to defense? Krizancic? Will they start? Or will Maxwell start? or will Sprague start? or maybe Windham will continue to improve, and come on strong this Spring? or, will there be a late JUCO surprise in the recruiting class who comes in and starts this fall? I have no clue, so I'll just wait and see.

Does anybody think that Sprague won't start? I figure that we will hear in spring that the starting QB job will be an open competition. In August, we will hear that Sprague and XXXX are #1 and #2. Before the opener, we will hear that Sprague will start and XXXX will get in for a few series. This will be repeated for all non-conference games. Sprague will be given every chance to be the starter. This seems like the pattern every year--except for 2011. It's actually worked well given the amount of QB injuries that have occurred.

Never heard safety was a possibility. He will likely start at QB.

Yeah, I remember Arkley tweeting about Brunson and Brown leaving. I don't remember hearing about Adams. And I missed the J. Brown position switch. With how thin we are at CB, I wonder if he'll move back. Same with incoming freshman Seymour. He's currently listed at WR, but he was also pretty well regarded as a defensive back, IIRC.

The main reason he transferred to Ohio was to play QB. Gotta think he'll be right in the mix.

Not really sure. He left Iowa in August so maybe he won't show up until fall camp. I assume he's already enrolled at Ohio. Anyone?

One of my pet peeves...in this day and age the only thing worse than no information on the internet is incorrect information on it. If ya can't keep it current why have it at all? I hate going to any site that has 2014 info on it. Makes one seriously wonder about a company.

Word of caution: I am not talking specifically about the OHIO roster. I am just talking about outdated and crappy information on so many web sites.

I agree. Is it asking too much to just review something before posting it? And I'm guessing Hilliard is listed on there now because it was mentioned up on this site that he wasn't listed. People read it. Just sayin'.

There are some BAers who will send inquiries to the SID which usually tweaks the system.

Somehow I doubt that what you really want is no roster at all....

In any case, I think that they are doing a much better job now of keeping it current than any of the last ten years. Is it perfect? No, but they are trying.
