As I said in my preview thread for 2016, the depth here is amazing, and this will be the best defensive live under Solich. Combined with some excellent returning starting linebackers, the front seven on defense is going to be fun to watch. If they can find some DB's to go with it,and I think they can, this should be a very, very good defense.

Maybe I slept through this but what is the story with Marshal Davis?

Marshal Davis was briefly mentioned in a thread now on page 4 of the recruiting forum entitled "New Names". That was from 8/8/2015 so presumably last year was the year he had to sit out, and he will be eligible to play this fall.

We all hope so.

But hopes should not blind anyone to how performance actual proves out.

Go ahead and start slamming me.
All I'm saying is that the constant sunshine crowd has been so bought into what it thinks we are that it's missed..refused to acknowledge..what we've proven to be.
I'll be happy to be proven wrong for not buying in until I see it.

The defensive line has never had this much depth and size. I wonder who will be the 3rd down pass rushers.

I know injuries were a big factor but I was really frustrated in the Bowl Game with the number of reps that Laesek and Basham had to play. Took its toll in the second half.

Injuries have always been a focal point for me as we seem to have more than many teams.
We need a year where injuries do not play a part in affecting just how good we can be.
