The stats for the QBs in today's scrimmage:
Maxwell 4-7-1 51 yards, 1 TD
Windham 3-5 25 yards, 1 rush for 1 yard
Krizancic 1-5 35 yards, 2 carries for 14 yards
Duckworth 0-2 passing, 20 yards rushing

It says that the defensive line dominated, and that the secondary defended well.

Twice the leading receiver.

9 Meyer, Andrew WR 6-0/186 RS SO Pickerington Central

1st Scrimmage

"The biggest play of the day was a 40-yard pass from Maxwell to RS sophomore wide receiver Andrew Meyer (Canal Winchester, Ohio). Meyer led the Bobcats wide receivers corps with 62 yards."

Yesterday,

"Maxwell, rolling to his right after a play-action fake, fired a 20-yard touchdown pass to WR Andrew Meyer in the right corner; the pass was deflected at the goal line but Meyer held on anyway. Meyer, a sophomore, continued his strong spring with two catches for 35 yards.

Tied by Muench. "Roster newcomer Joe Muench, a redshirt freshman WR, had the longest play of the day with a 35-yard catch down the left sideline on a nicely dropped in throw over the shoulder from Krizancic."

It would appear that the D will be the strength of the team next year. My concern is at the QB position. Based on the showings this spring we don't have any great options right now. With this position being the most important is causes some real concern.
Now I know we have the potential to have a great running game. But even this strength will be dependent on the O line.

IN CONCLUSION; The O has a lot more needed improvement if we are going to get to the MACC game in December.

It always appears that way, the defenses knows our offenses and defenses it well, this has to translate to when we play high powered offenses. It is easy to stop AJ, Irons, Smith Reid and Brown when you see them everyday in practice. Will they stop the other teams. I do believe our qb's need some serious work, but I am not ready to crown the d yet.
