She fired (under orders from the university president) the predecessor. She did not hire Chad Morris.
To say she had nothing to do with Albin's hiring is ridiculous. Solich made his recommendation but she talked with several ADs around the country, most of whom told her that given the timeline she had no choice but to hire Albin. That's why the contract was structured the way it was, with a two-year out for the university.
You sound a bit like someone who believes women should not be ADs.
I can't say I have any specific inside knowledge about the situation, but from everything I've read, a lot of the blame for Albin leaving falls on JC.
I have no problem with a woman AD but as I've posted before, I don't think JC was ever a good choice for O.U.
Nor, do I think she will ever be a Bobcat.
Losing Albin just reinforces my opinion.
If it does turn out that Albin's leaving was because of JC she should be out too.
