I was a freshman in Grosvenor Hall. A guy from the dorm came up to me in the cafeteria and told me he was driving to the Tangerine Bowl and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him and a bunch of other guys. I told him I had to go home and work over the break to make some money, but I added that I would go to the bowl game next time we were in one. So there I was with my brother (an Ohio grad) and my roommate 38 years later in Mobile, Alabama . . .
