There's a "blurb" in today's The Record that says Nick Saban and Bret Bielema want college football players,who wish to test the NFL draft waters,to have the same options of returning to school as basketball players.

I never knew there were different rules for each sport.

Some of he rules, unless I'm mistaken, are different as a result of the pro league's choices. As for being able to test the waters, I don't see why they couldn't allow for that. There are a ton of early entry juniors that have no business entering the NFL early.

The NFL draft is so much deeper and full of intrigue that I can't foresee the vast majority of "eligibles" getting any actionable information.
