Article in today's Messenger. Interesting that the first home game isn't at night. That had pretty much become a given lately and I remember JS being quoted as saying the students really like that first game being at night.

Hopefully a warm September afternoon won't be a blackout then.

I realize these times are often determined by tv but it would be nice if we could get a start time for the kent game. Wish they Cincinnati would get a start time for their game on 10/1 also. Would be a nice double header to see Ohio clobber Miami and then make the short trip down to watch the Bearcats.

Buffalo and Texas State on CBS with the possibility of Miami or BG showing up on CBS as part of the 21 day selection. This new MAC TV deal is great.

Marshall TV schedule has 1 game on ESPN, 2 on CBS and a bunch of others on little watched American Sports Network. The MAC deal that combines the ESPN Midweek package with CBS Sports Net is better than anything CUSA had in the past. CUSA's new TV deal is taking a paycut from 15.4 million to 2.8 million a year. Ouch.

Alan--those are general for the network...not specific to OHIO, right?

Everyone should state where they rank on those criteria.

Maybe Gardner Webb but that's Parents' Weekend. Maybe we can make that a "restroom choice optional" promotional game.

Actually I was at the Indianapolis 500 this year and a couple of ladies didn't want to wait in line any longer and made one of the men's restrooms choice optional.

Back in the 70's, that was a very common site at Blossom Music Center. When 20,000 showed up for a show, there weren't nearly enough restrooms for either sex.

Agreed. I just assumed that the Texas State game would be. Saturday night games are the best early in the season.
