Very interesting hire. Jim certainly runs a clean shop, and he's a darn good coach. Baylor's option is a lot different from Grobe's old-fashioned triple option. I wonder if he'll adapt, or they'll adapt. It'll be interesting to watch this unfold.

Seems to me when I've watched Baylor they have more receiver options on the average play than Grobe did. Remember, we once had a QB who lead the nation in fewest passes attempted. Baylor, on the other hand, might have somewhat the opposite statistic in some recent years. Yes, I did watch his Wake teams every now and then, and they did pass more than in his early years, but nothing like what I've seen at Baylor. And, the routes the receivers at Baylor run seem to me a lot more complex. But you're the Xs and Os guy, so what do I know.
