Almost positive that Zastudil recently announced he has officially retired.

Jordan Thompson had some active games for the Lions a couple years ago. Not sure where he is now though.

Thompson was cut by the Lions in the last week. Crutcher tried out for Montreal but I haven't seen anything else about it.

Thompson is still with Detroit, rehabbing his ACL, Jordan was cut from 53 man roster then the next week signed to the practice squad for the remainder of the season. he re-signed with rejoined the roster in January

He was released by the Lions six days ago.

Thompson was set to make the roster last year and had a horrible knee injury. He was placed on injured reserve and received a full salary and the Lions probably just released him because he has not fully recovered. It was his second or third knee injury, I really feel bad for him and hope he gets another shot. Foster is very talented, but gets his routes impeded easily due to a lack of strength. He has the speed and hands. He needs to overcome press coverage.

Good luck to Foster. The Giants have Beckham Jr., Cruz (returning from injury), Sterling Shepard (2d rnd pck OU), Roger Lewis from BG and the usual group of roster receivers to sort through. Shepard and Foster are both from OKC.

The Detroit newspapers cited that he was cut because he failed a physical. I hope he does get healthy, but as much as he has been hurt, he may never get back to where he was unfortunately.

I'm cautiously optimistic that Shepard could have a strong rookie season if the Giants can keep a healthy Beckham Jr. and Cruz on the field. He had a solid career at Oklahoma and probably will have a chip on his shoulder given that he was not drafted as early as he may have thought he should. From a pure outsider's perspective/opinion New York seems to have the least drama going on in the NFC East and that may bode well for them.
