OK, I'll have the guts to start it out for those willing to take a risk and make a prediction. Monroe is excused ahead of time.

OHIO 45
Kansas 28

Perhaps it is better to put down the crack bowl and back away from the liquor cabinet before posting. JK! Good luck.

Come on guys and gals, there must be someone else out there whose had a beer or two, and has the fortified courage to make a prediction. In Alan's case, that would be a glass or two something from the vineyards of France, or at least a Heineman's Niagra.

Prediction 1: Ohio loses by two touchdowns.

Prediction 2: Only one BA poster gives Kansas any credit.

I know Kansas isn't very good, but I'm still shocked they are only favored by 2. Maybe I'm wrong, but losing to Texas State at home seems really really really damning to me. Agree with others on the 2 score loss prediction but hope I'm wrong!

Ohio 29
Kansas 28

I haven't decided if our offense produces 2 TD and 5 FG, or 3 TD and 2 FG with the defense adding a safety chasing the Kansas QB out of the back of the endzone.

Leaning towards 2 TD and 5 FG, though.

Eight of their top ten receiving targets from last year are back. Three QBs played last week and all did pretty well, each of them completing better than 70% of their passes and throwing at least on TD pass (they had six total).

There is experience on the O-line, but not a lot of good experience. If Ohio has a prayer, they have to get into the backfield and not let them expose the secondary.

Ohio 31
Kansas 35

Ohio settles for a FG and Kansas will counter with a TD. That's the difference.

And if KU were to happen to win, the town of Lawrence will burn to the ground.

Kansas - 42
Ohio - 28

Kansas wins by taking advantage of Ohio's young and inexperienced defensive secondary.
