I believe fall camp begins tomorrow. I hope there is a good flow of reporting beyond what we have seen in the past. Arkley does a great job and the Post fills their pages but I hope we can get some other perspectives.

QB competition is of greatest interest along with who is stepping up in some of our thin positions and then the super new guys that surprise everyone.

This is probably going to be a fun year.

Speaking of new guys, what happened to the Hilliard kid that transferred in from Iowa? I haven't noticed his name on any of the depth charts.

He left after the Spring I believe. As camp begins I post my yearly thought about how much I miss Relentless.

Per the Messenger article Gibbons #1 LG. Hard Work + Dedication = Excellence. The number is 78. While at Ohio he has worked through a broken leg.

Arkley is a gem. Really lucky to have him reporting.

I agree about Arkley. Reading these updates from 3 hours away makes me wish I was there....and a freshman...and going back to school.

I immediately said "Sean" in my head. But knowing what I know about America, it's probably pronounced "Ski-Ann."

Or "Shun" as in ocean.

I agree about Arkley. I rarely read the stuff from the Athletics Dept.; it's a press release, so it's a bit sugar-coated. Arkley tells it like it is (my best Cosell impersonation there).

I'm excited about our receiving corps! We return a lot there and our young players sound promising.

Hopefully the Sebastian Smith injury from yesterday isn't serious. Arkley referenced it in the day 4 blog.

I know this has nothing to do with fall camp, happy to say my nephew was offered
a full scholarship by Coach Solich.
He will only be a junior in high school, I will do my best to keep him a bobcat!

With all the great backs and mobile QBs Ohio has, lets just go back to the triple option for this season. Sprinkle it into the offense during a series. Make the defense lose their collective mind.

Seriously, AJ behind the QB and Maleek and Papi and the outside? The attack would be devastating.

Not related in the slightest, but I caught a little bit of Olympic Women's Rugby 7s this weekend....the ugliest damn triple option I've ever seen.
