I don't care that they're only a dollar. I would pay more just to be able to read it. The font is too small and not bold enough to see.

Apparently the vendor walking around selling magnifying glasses for ten dollars did not stop by your way.

Also, did you notice in the list of OHIO NFL players that they again left out Vince Costello? Vince is probably, from a historical perspective, the OHIO NFL player who made the most impact. I've called this omission to their attention.

Also, the fold should have the two-deeps for both teams, but instead we had the entire Ohio roster on two pages that no human eyes could possibly read.

I wonder if anyone in Athletics showed a mockup of the shrunken version to advertisers, in particular ones that have advertised in the past.

Were I such an advertiser and was shown such a mockup, I immediately would have insisted on a lower rate.

And then there was the new pre-game traffic arrangements. I chatted with 2 or 3 of the police officers and asked if any arrivals were confused. "Lots of them," they said ruefully. They the added, "We know there are some hiccups that need fixed."

One such hiccup: Metal fencing bordered the intersection of Richland and South Green Drive. That intersection was staffed and, of course, there are Walk/Don't Walk signals. To cross, I had to walk back to Peden, cross there and walk back to Richland. I mentioned this to the police and later to Jim Schaus who immediately said, "We should make sure there is a small gate so pedestrians can cross there."

It will be interesting to see what changes are made.

The new arrangement does speed exiting from the Peden lot onto Richland and then to the traffic circle.

No...I know one of the advertisers who was very surprised and not pleased.

I have been a football season ticket holder for many years. Never made a comment on this forum but I have to now. The programs are unreadable period. I couldn't read it after I got home let alone at the game. I can tolerate that however. What is hard to tolerate is the horrible sound system and the malfunctioning of the referee's microphone. I can't tell you how many times those around me asked "what happened?".

I like the format but after reading the posts here I agree... damn text is too small.

in general, I like the smaller size program... easier to fold and fit in pocket.

I preferred the programs back when Frank Morgan was the SID. You could spend an hour counting the typos, misspellings and grammatical errors. Much more interesting than the product on the field in those days.

+1

My all time favorite has Dave Jamerson being drafted by the Houston Astros.

I liked the size, much easier to carry, set on the seat etc... Maybe they can adjust the print some.
