A lot's been said about the great job Louis Zervos is doing. Rightly so; he leads 1A in FGs and has hit 13 of 14.
But Michael Farkas has also been a real find at punter. He's averaged 42 ypk, good for 39th in 1A and 5th in the MAC. Today he avgd 42.4 and put two of his seven punts inside the 20, including one that was downed at the one. He's very consistent and a good weapon.

Tennessee also had only 5 punt return yards, so the net on the punts was surely outstanding.

Zervos/Farkas. Both doing very well. Their recruitment and development has not been just dumb luck. Let me be the first to give a good job shout out to the staff for Ohio's special teams as this season opens up. Oh, yes, I remember the return by Kansas.
