They take advantage of opportunities especially mistakes by the other team. Kansas fumbled two punts and had a bad punt snap and we capitalized on all of them.

Some will complain that we didn't score TD's. But it is important to put points on the board after every sudden change. Sure, touchdowns would be preferable. But points of some kind are crucial.

Ohio's settled for field goal tries 10 times in two games, which is too many, but nevertheless it has scored 91 points in two games without its leading rusher and leading receiver.

The other thing good teams do happening at about the 10:30 mark. Ohio basically crammed the ball down Kansas' throat, burning over 7 minutes of clock, and punching it down near the goal line before taking the field goal that make it into a three possession game.

that was a great drive, we probably had the ball for over 45 minutes in the game. We do need to score touchdowns though.

That drive was a thing of beauty (other than the incomplete pass in the red zone at the end of the drive). Several HUGE 3rd down conversions to keep the drive alive.

In general, yes, I'd like to see more touchdowns, and less field goals, but on that drive in particular, a field goal was all that was necessary to put a final nail in KU's coffin.

The drive was 18 plays, 81 yards, and consumed 10:03 minutes.

They took it to Kansas from the opening bell and set the tone. After the first offensive possession by each team I don't think it was ever in doubt. I was a little worried when Ohio started settling for FGs given the way the secondary played last week, but to be honest Ohio looked like a completely different team.

As much as I am still upset about the Texas State game, maybe it's the type of kick in the ass the team needed. It woke them up. I think the Tennessee game will at least be interesting to watch next week.

Also, what is up with Albin calling deep go routes on 3rd and short when Ohio completely dominating the LOS? Man that grinds my gears.

And this is what I don't get as to why our offense is so dormant sometimes. We were FLAT for about 5 drives in the 2nd and 3rd quarter vs. Kansas. We did the same thing vs. Texas State in the 2nd quarter.

And then we put together an 18 play, 10 minute drive to put the game away. I get that Kansas' D had to be gassed by that point in the game, so it made things a little bit easier for us, but why did we struggle so much when they switched to a 3-4 in the 2nd quarter? Are we just unable to adjust?

Windham showing what I was hoping we would get from him when he first committed. I really wish we would have had him for more than 2 years as a starter. I think he'll put up some really good numbers this season when all is said and done.
