I have a call into my bookie, bet my entire life savings we lose and I don't care how bad Kansas is.

I'm seeing KU -3.

I'm fighting the urge to make the 4 hour trek from where I am to go to this game despite the amount of schoolwork I have (I'm in the middle of starting grad school), and the fact that a new lady friend wants to hang out that day at a museum (oh, and I'm studying Museum Studies). Decisions, decisions...

We opened the season giving 9 in this game and as Ben said are now getting 3. Here's to the bookies having both of our first two games totally wrong.

Kansas went 28-38 passing for 399 yards last week. Given our poor secondary play I expect that the Bobcats will lose by 14. Losing AJ really hurts.

RI pressured the KU QB very little. Ohio sacked a good Texas State QB six times. There will be, at least, a full second less time for the KU QB to work his magic vs Ohio. We shall see how quickly KU can execute.

A little odd to have a "gut check game" the second game of the season, but I think this is one. FWIW, while I know we're going to miss AJ while he's out, we still have plenty of weapons on offense. I believe his injury affected the team mentally, more than anything. Most of the mistakes on offense were mental. They missed his outstanding leadership.

Joe Namath just called his bookie and said, put all my money on OHIO in this game, I guarantee a Bobcat win! ;-)

Hey guys, Kansas fans here. Always like to hop on opposing teams' message boards during game week, especially when it's someone we don't usually play.

We went into game 1 with a QB dilemma and can't say we came out with a clear winner. Cozart got the start and looked very efficient. Willis has all the arm talent in the world but looked a bit off. You guys should be stronger on both lines, which gives me cause for concern. We've got a ton of youth on both.

Anyways, looking forward to discussing the game with you all and if anyone is making the trip, happy to give tips! Free State is a great choice.

The line moved. It opened Ohio -2 and is now Kansas -3.

I think the Bobcats will put some points up on the board. Problem is they will not be able to stop the Jayhawks. We way too often seem to be a great tonic for a team that is struggling.

As bas as Kansas has been the past several years, they probably have talent that is at least on par with Texas State and they ripped the defense to shreds. I know the secondary is green and raw (and thus bad right now) but the supposed strength, the d-line, brought little pass rush when it mattered most on Saturday.

Watching this Florida State-Ole Miss game right now it is painful seeing a team in a shade of red and gold doing whatever they want on offense. Bad deja vu from Saturday.

I still think we win this one, as bad as it was Saturday. I see the defense improving tremendously from what we'll hopefully come to think of as a learning experience. And I think Windham can do some really good things throwing the ball down the field if the playcallers will let him. Not having Sebastian Smith concerns me, but we're stacked with talent at WR.

Go Bobcats.

I think I've about had it with opposing coaches who keep harping on how we do not beat ourselves. With all the evidence of personal fouls that have turned punting situations into touchdown drives (Minnesota and App State last year come immediately to mind in both of our close losses and last week of course) I think it's pretty obvious that we have a terrible habit of beating ourselves.

Got to agree with you on that.
