On X, Parker announced that he’ll be back next year. If Hunt is back in the backfield, and Rodarte is back, we could have some awesome skill position players. Now we need to get reinforcements on the O Line.

I think this announcement is huge for two reasons:

1) Obviously we need him at QB next season

2) Maybe his decision to stay influences others to come back as well

Money talks though so we'll see who is desirable enough for schools to cut big checks.

I love TWO-peat…but I will settle for the more traditional RE-peat.

It really can’t be overstated how big a deal this is. A MAC Championship QB choosing to stay during an era when transferring up is the norm is real “we used to dream about this” territory. We’ll still take hits in the portal for sure, but this alone mitigates them immensely. Big thanks to Parker!

Wishlist:
3 portal linemen with experience
Sieh Bangura but keep Hunt
Reliable portal wideout to join Hendricks, Harris, Pugh, Eammon and Rodarte
Keep Bruno and Williams
Linebacker from a small school that is a tackle machine like Leake
Keep Weaver, Doggette and Shay
Alex Kasee time!

I am not sure Eammon Dennis has eligibility. I thought he didn't.

My wish list would include most of the assistant coaches.

Trivia Time:

Parker is not the first Bobcat letterman with the surname of Navarro.

Any on BA that can name the other Navarro (I do not believe related to Parker and did not letter in football)?

On another note, in Detroit at the Bobcat Bash I spoke with former running back superstar Beau Blankenship and when asked about another Beau Blankenship on the current roster, he just kinda shook his head and said, "What are the odds of that?"
