We all know Fiami sucks, but they seem to be sucking just bad enough to lose. Aside from Iowa, they've played each opponent close and were on the verge of winning a couple games. They nearly beat Cincy today and had a close loss to a pretty good WKU team. I was pretty impressed with their QB, Bahl, today. Our secondary will need to play its best next week. This game isn't going to be as easy as most of us thought four weeks ago. (Neither, apparently, is the EMU game.)

And I just bought tics. I think this is going to be a close game but we pull it out. I think we can shut the run down (today was not a good look - lot of 2nd team in the game today) - but our secondary is Full of Holes.

With today a rest for many - I think we can mix up run and pass next week pretty well and pull out a win. We MUST do well in the penalties and TO's mix.

Miami is winless and lost to a FCS team (a good one), but I think we are only going to be about a 4 point favorite.

Miami has had much improved recruiting the last 3 years or so. They will improve, and this year they will be much better than last year. I still expect an Ohio win, but not a romp.

I don't know, it's the Auld Enemy, and just when they do something positive like play Nati close. Boom! they go and lose by 20 at home to OHIO! I think we romp them and the only reason it's close is because we let the 4th stringers get in on the beating.

Stats to keep in mind:
Ohio is 2nd in the MAC in getting sacks.
Fiami is tied for last in the MAC in getting sacked.
Fiami is last in the MAC in rushing offense.

No pass protection + no run blocking = fun day for D line

What stands out to me is that Ohio is averaging 36.0ppg (44th) and 215.3ypg (36th) in rushing compared to Miami at 20.5ppg (115th) and 113.8ypg (117th) rushing. Ohio can grind out a lot of yards and keep Miami off the field, force a few turnovers on defense. Playing well but losing week after week eventually affects morale. Ohio should cruise in this one.

Ohio needs healthy running backs to play the way they want to. Here is hoping Maleek and Dorian are able to get back for next weekend.

We are going to control the clock and beat the hell out of Miami. They haven't faced a defensive line like OURS all year. Only way they score more than 13 is with screens and draws. But they wont. 38-13 us.
