BG @ Ohio -11.5
Miami @ Akron -7.5
Kent -1.5 @ Buffalo
NIU @ WMU -19.5
Toledo -17 @ EMU
Ball State @ CMU -12.5

The games in the East are going to go a long way towards sorting out the East. Assuming that Ohio can beat BG, the Akron-Miami winner will most likely be Ohio's primary competitor for the East Championship. Meanwhile the Kent-Beefs game will help sort the bottom half. The games in the West, however, all have very wide spreads.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Miami over Akron. Just a hunch.

11.5 is a lot more than I would have expected in this one.

Is Woodson still out for Kron? If so, I think Fiami might pull the upset. The freshman QB surprised me how well he moved the ball against us. I see the line has moved from Kron -6.5 to -8.

It's uncertain, he hasn't been ruled out though.

I don't see WMU blowing out NIU, I think that could be closer than expected.

YOu never know what will happen game to game, but... has NIU shown anything to this point to indicate they could be more competition than CMU?

Not much. I guess I'm just not buying their role as the doormat of the West this year.

Only reason I have our game close is because of the QB switch from Knapke to Morgan. Morgan gives BG a better chance. It just happens that their coach made the switch during our week. I like how we responded to Miami's QB switch last week. Of course they scored because we never watched film on the kid. But we eventually made a big play against him in a critical point of the game. We have to get to James Morgan tomorrow. Slam him on that turf a few times.

Presented like one with a sweaty, grass stained and bloody uniform.
