That has passed us up in just a couple of years with a new coach and more talented players. In one word: disappointing. When will we learn to tackle and be physical?

I've been answering that for you for years.

When about all the evidence always, continues to point my way, does anyone really want to argue the point?

If things turn around, I'll be happy to admit it.

But until then, please stop yelling at me and start admitting what we have been for the past four years are are now.

There is no reason to think that it will get better under this coaching staff.

Lack of activity re recruiting indicates a stale situation to me. Young men are not impressed, are not coming our way in numbers, talent.

EMU is improved. They'll go bowling this year...which has seemed unthinkable for the last 20.

We can't lose ro every decent team and call ourselves a good football team. Good football teams don't lose to Texas State and EMU at home.

EMU is not a bottom 10 team this year. Anyone at the game today saw that they are definitely better.

So why is that an excuse for losing to them? Because they are an improved and good football team? Congrats to EMU they played well and were the better team today. But if Ohio wants to become the program most here think they want to become, you don't lose this game at home. Be better.

My point is simply they are another team that has passed us by. I've said almost as much as Monroe. This staff has shown us how far they can take us. There is no more upside. Just look at the personnel out there today. The recruiting is the achiles heel of this staff. And, I am not even going to talk about execution. Our tackling was horrid today. I thought we were pain and simple outplayed physically.

The tackling has been bad for a few years, we need to let the ones tackle the scout team or have tackling drills with the tackle dummies.

Alan, those calling for EMUs ouster were basing it more on fan support and chronic low attendance than performance on the field.

I think that there's some sarcasm here that most are missing.

With that logic Jeff we'd be MAC champs every year.
